Stronger muscles eating fruit
Keeping fit or loosing a little weight are only few of the many important reasons for an healthy diet.
One of these is the high amount of antioxidant elements contained in fruits and vegetables, food that can’t be missing in a balanced diet. The antioxidants are well known for their action against the damages due to free radicals.
In a recent study conducted by the Pittsburgh University (USA), dr. Anne Newton and her team found their efficacy in fighting the force and muscle function loss, physiological after 40 years old.
This research involved 2.000 adults both men and women aged more than 70 years old, and demonstrated that taking on average 144 mg of vitamin C and 11 mg of vitamin E daily may delay the effects of muscle aging.
