What are the best ways of storing different kinds of fruit?
Kiwis: store in a cool and dry place. Kiwis are very delicate and can deteriorate quickly. They are fresh when the flesh is firm, but when they are too soft they take on a medicinal smell which means they are past their best and should preferably not be eaten.
Plums: store in the fridge until a few hours before eating. They are quite delicate, so the best advice is to buy modest amounts for immediate consumption.
